Port Restrictions             

  There are two berthing areas at Drogheda.

  Town Berths

  LOA:       

  • Up to 90 m no restrictions

  • Up to 100 m with good manoeuvring equipment and ok from Harbourmaster 

Drafts:

  • Please allow 20 cm on tidal predictions

  • N.A.A.B.S.A.  Air Draft 26 m

 

Tom Roe Point (TRP) Berths

LOA: 

  • Up to 90 m – no restrictions

  • Up to 120 m With good manoeuvring equipment and ok from Harbourmaster

Drafts:

  • Please allow 30 cm on tidal predictions

  • No Airdraft

TRP berths can be busy with Liner business, which have priority. So if necessary and berth available vessel may have to lighten there – Overall cost Circa Euro 300

Liner operations normally mean berths available on first come first served as follows;

  • Monday 1 Berths

  • Tuesday 2 berths

  • Wednesday 1 berths

  • Thursday 1 berths

  • Friday 1 Berth

  • Saturday 2 berths


For all steel and timber cargoes we must have option to use TRP and Town berths. Please note restrictions above.

Any vessels that Harbour Master decides requires assistance to swing will be aided by work boat at cost of 214 euro per operation.
