Cautionary Note

These notes should read in conjunction with the Tide Tables available on this site

Mariners should note that, the tidal predictions are for depths of water at the Drogheda Port Town Quays (Town) and the deep- water facility at Tom Roe's Point Terminal (TRP)

Different depths apply to the two berthing locations.

Masters are strongly advised to seek clarification of their nominated discharging berth to determine maximum draft in advance of loading for Drogheda Port.

Weather conditions may influence the tidal predictions contained in these tables for Drogheda Port. Northerly winds reduce predicted levels while southerly winds increase them. Barometric pressure may also effect the predicted levels.

It is believed the B.S.T. will be kept between Sunday 26th March 2006 01:00 GMT until Sunday 29th October 2006 01:00 GMT. Otherwise times are given in G.M.T. The year 2006 tables are complied from basic data in the British Admiralty Tide Tables.

The tidal predictions for Drogheda Port for the year 2005 have been computed by Proudmans Oceanographic Laboratory; copy right reserved.

While great care is taken in the preparation of these tables Drogheda Port Company or Martin Butterly & Co. Ltd. cannot accept any responsibility for any errors.
